Asked if he used a MAC or a PC, John McCain confessed to being a computer illiterate who depends on his wife for anything digital. Should we care?
Yeah, I think we should. If we elected a president that didn’t know how to drive a car, we’d find that pretty odd. We’d certainly have little to no faith in that president to solve our oil crisis.
This is a little different than George Bush not knowing how to use his Segway scooter. This is like Abraham Lincoln refusing to ride one of those new-fangled trains to campaign. Or Al Gore refusing to drive a hybrid car. I don’t necessarily expect John McCain to sit up at night and dwell over Facebook or MySpace, but he could at least learn how to send an email.
