How much money can you earn making websites? Here’s the breakdown of how much I earned vs. my business revenue

Look, the answer to this question is so wildly dependent on so many factors it’s nearly impossible to pin down a number. You could make $500 a year running a web agency or $5 million. All I can do is tell you how I got to where I was.

When I started in earnest in 2009 I made $17,000 in revenue that year. The profit was somewhere around $150. Basically, any money I brought in I spent on the business or to live.
